I know it's supposed to be February Blahs but I'm behind as usual.
I seem to have lost my zest for photography for the moment so if you've noticed my submissions are few and far between that is the reason. I expect once I hit the green green hills of the UK in a couple of weeks I will perk right up. Until then I'll keep watching you all and maybe I'll even post a thing or two.
I know how you feel, dont think i will be doing much over the next few weeks. Other things to do.I hope you both have a lovely time when you get here and look forward to seeing your pictures.
I'm looking forward to this year in particular because it's the first year I will be over there with my slr and a focus on photography. Other years Richard did the hauling of the equipment up the hills and I just pulled my point and shoot out of my pocket when the mood struck me.
I have lost 20 pounds since last year and I was thinking it would be easier on my knee joints climbing those hills but now I'm putting 10 of it back by hauling my camera bag around. Oh well, I'm still a bit further ahead and my hiking pants don't ride up my butt anymore.
We will be there for a month and we'll have our laptops with us so if you are planning to be anywhere in the vicinity, or even the Northern Dales, on one of your outings drop me a line and perhaps we could meet up for a pint?
Your absence was noted here. An emergency meeting of the Council of Yorkshire Deviants was called to determine what could be done to fill the void. We got nothing.
I think we all come across periods where the muse just doesn't take us and the inspiration evaporates.
It'll pass
FYI: The weather here is behaving itself and we have been enjoying sunny days with temperatures around 14 degrees. Spring has certainly sprung, although it can still get down to freezing temperatures at night.
We have the whole of the UK on standby for your imminent arrival
