The cottage/croft we rented for the week on the Isle of Skye is amongst the houses seen here. It is on Tianavaig Bay looking towards the Isle of Raasay on the east coast of Skye. The town of Portree is 5 miles north.

I guess you can't go wrong on Skye, but that's an especially lovely area :) Great photo too; thanks for sharing-- really hope to see more from the trip!

Yes it was and it was warm and dry enough on a couple of occasions to take our coffee outside in the morning. :)

It really was lovely and better than we expected for a price of about $400.00 cdn for the week. The cottage was spotless, very well equiped and most important of all, as our old bones are finding out, WARM. :giggle:
